Remember this excerpt from a week ago?

"In the evening I got hoarded by the children in the neighborhood who decide (after weeks of leaving me alone) that they want to play Wii. Are all children around the age group of 7-10 so rude that they walk into your house when you told them no? Ask if I have snack and cookies every 10 seconds and I'm wondering if I should send a bill to their parents? Just wondering, but I did put him to work so I suppose he earned his game time. And P.S. I am SOO tired of them saying "You have a Wii? That is so unfair. Can I have your DS(which was a gift)? Since you have a Wii can I have your (broken) Playstation?" I told them "Excuse me? We work hard and save money for the things we have. If YOU want a DS go do some WORK."

Let me tell you what I edited out of this entry.

"Actually what I am more worried about is how they run around telling every other kid in the neighborhood that we have a Wii. We are known as the people with a Wii by neighborhood children. I'm concerned about one of their big brothers deciding to come confiscate our stuff to be honest."

So go ahead, guess what Bill found when he got home today?

  2. I'm so sorry that you all got robbed. I can't believe that that happened to you and Bill. What a violation of your personal space. I hope they catch the guys that did it. I heard that they found some fingerprints, that's a good start. At least you weren't there when it happened. That would have been 10 times scarier. Anyway, I hope that you are having a good time with your family. I'll talk to you soon.

  3. When I read the first story, I was thinking just that, knowing our own neighborhood kids and their older brothers and friends. I watched some older brother's "friend" steal a bike right out from under our neighbor girl, on her porch, in the middle of the day, amongst a bunch of little kids!
So I'm SO sorry that happened. What was the total loss? Any damage?
