The RS B-day party is OVER - thank goodness. I wrote an entry about it but it was long-winded and wound around some different churchy subjects until I just gave up on it.
Our family sickness (which I haven't posted about) are almost over.
It's been really warm here - 70's and even 80 I believe. Which is nice (uh-oh, this is SPRING?).
I updated Miriam's totsite - although I think I might be on the end of my space allowance.
Must go attempt to exercise....
In the meantime - think on this:
I am about to take NO SMALL TRIP with a toddler - to OR and AZ. I need 2 things -
1)Suggestions on easy things I can take on long plane rides to help entertain Miriam
2)How I can carry her car seat through the airport to gate check it. Already have carry-on diaperbag/purse, umbrella stroller, and CHILD.
Good luck with your trip! We go to the dollar store and buy lots of little things to entertain (that way they've never seen it before and you don't worry about losing it or having to throw it away). And wow...how to carry all that stuff. Umm...good luck. Most I can carry is a diaper bag, plus our little one (in the carseat), and Mason if I absolutely have too, or he walks.
ReplyDeleteLoosen the straps lots and then you sling it over your shoulder on top of your diaperbag/purse. Super uncomfortable, but the way to do it if you're only taking an umbrella stroller. Once we had 2 kids (haven't traveled with 3 yet) we took our sit 'n' stand stroller which was a life saver for carrying everything.
ReplyDeleteYou may have to break down and rent a cart. I know what a pain. It would save you back so that you don't have pain. And, you can always let Miriam ride on it too.
