I would have been happy with the Magic Bullet

We had a holiday party with Bill's work today at a really nice hotel in Atlanta. I got to meet more people - including another stay-at-home-mom (husband works in DNA) with a 2 1/2 year old, so hey! maybe another person to get out with!
Miriam was a pretty good girl, but wasn't very interested in the food. She spilled cold water on herself straight away so we had to take off her pants and she ran around in her onesie (I had a spare onesie but of course no PANTS). Everyone thought she was a boy because she pulled off her hair bow and I didn't notice until we were inside so . . . I'm thinking little pigtails are in order.
There was trivia, and a white elephant exchange and a big raffle. There were Target and Best Buy gift cards, a night at the hotel, a digital frame, a Magic Bullet (all of which I was into winning). They actually drew for the big prize of the day first, but saved the ticket in the envelope until the end. Can you believe we actually WON IT? We won!!!! This is now in our possession. We never win - and we won the big prize of the day! Awesome!
This evening we had a nice - all expenses paid - aka, we had a gift card, dinner at Chilis. We came home and watched the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on abcfamily, and put Miss Miriam to bed. Which is when we discovered - her fever is BACK. Fine yesterday. This evening, back to 101. Which leads me to needing to go to WalMart for more Tylenol at 10pm. Not so thrilled about that.
