Chirp!

Maggie as she was when she expected to be converting to ALL digital scrapbooking:
Maggie as she discovers that this is NOT the crock pot she was expecting:
Maggie who is now resigned to not giving up paper scrapbooking entirely

In other words Thank You to my in-laws who have helped me look at a money-sucking hobby in a new refreshing way!

  1. Hahaha! Looks like this was the Cricut Christmas! I got one as well, and so did Ann-Jeannette Dickson. They might be on sale or something...

I still refuse to become a scrapbooker. I know I would love it, but I don't want to waste hundreds of dollars on it. I'll use it to make cards and other decorations around the house. :)

  2. Yeah! Maybe there was an awesome sale...
I don't scrapbook that often and was trying to go digital to "consolidate" all the paper. Hmm. So yeah don't take it up ;) I saw some vinyl at the craft store especially for use with the Cricut. We could become those ladies that have the vinly sayings on our walls now! Families are Forever!

  3. I just see scrapbooking as an endless project and I really like starting a project and finishing it. Make Christmas cards, finish. Make birthday invitations, finish. Thank you cards, finish... you know? That kind of thing.

Also you can find A LOT of projects you can use your Cricut on which don't imply covering your house walls with vinyl lettering! You can make ornaments and decorate them with vinyl cut-outs, you can make stencils to etch glass or paint boxes for a present or whatever, or make quiet books for Myriam for church. I mean, the possibilities are endless and they don't have to be limited to the Families are Forever or any other sign around the house. THAT's what I will use my Cricut on.

Scrapbooking? I'll pass on that one. :P I still think that digital scrapbooking is easier and faster. I haven't done any yet but if I did, I would definitely go with that one. It's a lot cheaper, too.
